Why is Barcelona only looking for Neymar? Neymar, Sterling, Sancho, greizmann

Sometime before I wrote a blog in which we looked for the best winger in Europe,there were nine wingers which made it to the list, Neymar also made it to the list. There is no doubt that Neymar is one of the top player, every team would like to have a player like him. But like the previous player comparison between Werner and Martinez, why is Barcelona only looking for Neymar as a winger there are many other wingers who can suit Barcelona and at last we would see does Barcelona really need to buy a winger for next season becuase Greizmann is also a left winger.

 Let's get started, 

Previously there has been a blog that has been released where best nine winger of 2019/2020 season were listed. In which there were top players like Ronaldo, Sadio Mane, Neymar, Sterling and Right wingers like Messi, Sancho, Salah, Mahrez. Barcelona can not target all (Ronaldo) of the above players. With Neymar there has been some winger who has at the top level for sometime now. Mane, Salah has been linked to Real Madrid, Mahrez to PSG. While Sancho has been linked to almost every big European club, Xavi has said that he would like Sancho and (Gnabry) [Gnabry would not leave Bayern]to play for Barcelona. Likewise Xavi has also said that if he would manage Barcelona Sterling would be one of his first signing. And both of them have linked to barcelona for long time. So today we would be comparing Neymar Jr with Sancho, Sterling and with Greizmann. It would be very intersting to see who is best. 

 Neymar Jr

I would not talk about him a lot because all of Barcelona fan know what he can do. Talking directly to the point, He has been good for PSG although he has missed half of theatches because of injury. Neymar is a world class player but he is 28 years old. Before leaving for PSG he was said to be the heir of Messi but Neymar is only four year smaller than Messi and I don't think Neymar will have as much big career Messi. His age is one factor but the second reason is- he is very much injury- prone, And when Barcelona will buy Neymar for his big price tag Supporters would expect him to create a difference from the very first match and play all of the important match, but becuase of his fitness no on can guarantee that. 

But he is not only the option that Barcelona has. Now let's compare Neymar with Sterling, Sancho and Greizmann.

Neymar- 

128 Million Euro 

But PSG are demanding close to 200 million euro and if somehow PSG would lower their asking price they won't lower down to 128 million euro for sure. So it's a loss- loss for Barcelona, they would have to overpay for Neymar than his actual Marketvalue

 Raheem Sterling-

128 Million Euro

Manchester city's left winger, it was reported that it had said it to the City if Pep leaves at the end of the season he would also like to depart at the end of the season. And City facing a two year ban in Champions League is also a major factor for him. Presently he is 25 year old and he would be 26 in 8th of December, that means he would be coming into his prime, and no player would like to play for a team who would not participate at Europe's biggest competition. With all that said city wouldn't let go him for cheap.

 Jadon Sancho 

117 Million Euro 

Not a proper left winger but he has performed equally good at this position as well. Borrusia Dortmund was valuing him around 120-130 million euro before the coronavirus but now they are ready to sell him for 100 million euro. With the kind of quality he has shown in the Bundesliga at this price he will be a good choice for any big club.

96 Million Euro

He has been not at his very best this season and also have come under a lot of criticism. But personally I think Greizmann should get a second chance to show his real worth. Also you can not blame only Greizmann for his performances he has played under two different managers and has played in right, left and at center forward position as well. And after the pandemic situation, sticking with Greizmann is the best option.

Sancho has played half the amount of matches in left wing but had the same impact.

The picture may show that Greizmann had play only one match as a right winger but when Luis Suarez got injured and Arturo Vidal was playing has a left winger,and Greizmann as a Center forward, whenever Messi used to cut inside from the right wing to center Greizmann had to play in Right wing. 

Now finally, comparing what matters the most- goals, assists dribbles.

From the above stats you can look that Sancho has the most number of goals (14)and assists (15) from all the three and also has the most passing success rate with 84.4%. While Neymar has the most shots per game (4.7). Also Neymar, has the highest rating from these website(8.58). While Greizmann has played most matches and most number of minutes(2138). All the four players aren't good in aerials as Greizmann with has won the most among these four areial duel won per game(1).While Sterling does not have very impressive stats if asked whom would I take from Neymar, Sancho and Sterling for their price I would certainly pick Sterling becuase I think Sancho should go to the Premier league before joining Barcelona. And Neymar with that price tag is out of budget for barcelona. While Sterling also have the big price tag he will be entering his prime and would suit Barcelona. 

But as thing stand Barcelona should not spend much money on forward and invest in the defence. Greizmann should get a second chance and I think he would perform much better in the second season.
And for bringing Neymar back to barcelona, if barca really wanted to do that they should have brought Neymar last season where they broke the bank for Greizmann. Instead of buying Greizmann for 120 million euro, they should have offered PSG 150 million euro + any one or two player. But according to me if Barcelona don't get Neymar this season he would never come back to barcelona again as next season he would be turning 29 and most important we would have a new president and the front runner Victor font has already made it clear that he would not bring Neymar back to barcelona.
