Central attacking midfielder position value has has been increasing in the last couple of years, they are also getting recognized for their gameplay. They should have ability to control the whole match from midfield and move the ball towards goal. All the attacking midfielders play an important part in the chances created, they must have the ability to play the through ball and have an excellent vision of the game and find the player in the final third and sometime finish the move by scoring it by own

The belgian attacking midfielder has been in a incredible run of form and has played most of the city's matches improving his overall fitness. He has scored eight goals and assisted his team mates 16 times this season, most by any player in the top five league. Last season because of injury we saw him playing very few matches. He can beat the premier league assist record of Thiery Henry who has 19 assists in a season. Kevin dear bruyne needs just two more assist to level his record and three to create a record. The way he is playing we can see him create a new record if the season is continued.
2.)Thomas Muller from Bayern munich
The german international has shut the mouth of every critics who criticised him for holidays previous season. It was also a news that teams muller can leave Bayern munich and join a Serie A side. But that transfer didnt happen and he has played mainly as attacking midfielder and also played at second striker and right wing position.
He has scored six goals and assisted 16 times, second most assist by any player in the top five league in this season.
3.)Bruno Fernandes from Manchester united
He joined Manchester united from Sporting C.P for 55 miolion euro in the hunter transfer window, and has rejuvenated the whole manchester united squad. His season can be divided into two part, first one at Sporting in which he played 17 matches and scored on eight occasion and assisted seven time. And second part at Manchester united where he played five matches in the premier league and scored twice and assisted three times.So if we calculate his total goal contribution in the whole season it would be 20 you can argue that portuguese league isnt at the same level as premier league bug he has shown that he is a quality player.
For the last position it was quite difficult, like
Toni kroos who has performed well and scored three goal assisted five time.
The young German international Kai Havertz who has attracted the attention of some of the big clubs of Europe. He has scored six goals and assisted five times.
The Barcelona fc loan player, Coutinho who has scored eight goals and assisted six times

4.)Portu from Real sociedad
No footballing pundit talks about small team player who has perform well and gives the credit for that. But Portu has performed well for real sociedad and scored on eight occasion and assisted seven times. Real sociedad has been very exciting to watch this season with some very good young talents in their squad.
