Best wingers 2019-2020 season (left and right both)

This blog was published when approximately 10 league matches were left in the league
So after five post (in best label you can find previous one) and couple of tough decision for the best player in the particular position, the most exciting and and the most tough decisions has to be made about who are the best forward in the world. Each and every time whenever a team losses a match its fault has been put into the individual and rarely someone says if that chance was converted into goal then we would have won the match, unless its penalty, forward are are in safe position from critics they get limelight for their goals, their high salaries but your one crucial chance id missed and you loss the match and suddenly every pundit eyes open for blaming you for the loss.

And I have received some comments that I only take the stats for league, its true because every player needs to be analysed whether big or small and small team cant participate in Champions league.

Its going to be a big blog so lets get started

First up , we are going to look for the best left winger.

1.) Cristiano Ronaldo from Juventus 

The 35 year old and juventus top scorer in the Serie A and overall second top scorer in Serie A behind Europe top scorer Ciro Immobile has scored 21 goals and assisted 3 times.He has been in absolute beast mode after Lionel Messi got his 6th ballon d or in 2nd december. Talking about him, he has showed how important work ethic is, he has created record for scoring in 11 consecutive matches in Serie A. He has taken seven penalty and scored on every occasion. Often converting a penalty is taken very lightly but it is not the case you can see how important a penalty specialist is required after watching Manchester City failing to convert a penalty on five occasion this season.
Also Ronaldo this season has scored some big goal which has decided the game. 

2.) Sadio mane from liverpool 

2019 African player of the year is having a fantastic season. He is an all round player who gives his everything in the match whether he is attacking or  defending. He has been getting some credit lately, after all the praises were showered on Salah and Firmino. He has scored 14 goals out of which I remember every goal has been a big goal in the match like deciding goal. You can look at him when you need goal and often he steps up in big situation. He has also assisted 9 times. With him you can see how he runs and can beat left back with his speed and physicality. He didnt perform to his standard against Atletico and Liverpool losed that match. He has been linked with La liga  heavy weight Real madrid for the transfer and liverpool will ask Madrid to pay 150 million euro.

3.)Neymar jr. from Paris saint germain

On his day and when he is fit, he is the best player if not the best in the world. After joining Psg from Barcelona he has missed half the matches that Psg has played and has missed 2nd leg of Champions league on both the occasion but this time he played both the round of 16 match against Borussia Dortmund  and scored on Home and away match and led Psg to quater final. In the league he has scored 13 goals and six assists. And with neymar every there has always been transfer talk and this year it could be possible as Barcelona are looking more serious than ever. Psg would make a demand of 150 -180 million euro demand.

I only saw this handful of player performing very well at left wing, their were more impressive young player but they weren't as clinical in front of goal.

4.)Raheem Sterling from Manchester City

He was firing all cylinders out in the initial matches and it was looking like he would see his best season but soon his purple patch became rough patch and the he suffered from an injury and everything turned his best season turned into an ordinary one. He scored eleven goals and gave just one assists till now. If the season continue he can still convert this season into a good one Manchester city have a very good advantage over Real madrid and he can help city to their European glory

Now lets talk about Right winger 

1.) Lionel Messi from Barcelona

Messi was injured during the initial matches of the season and was nowhere about his top form.After he returned from the injury he took his time and to be in the top form.Given the lack of depth in Barcelona squad Messi had to play some matches where he can be given rest. The new year saw him struggling in front of the goal and he didnt scored for four consecutive league matches which was his longest drought for goal but during this time also he assisted six time in that four match and showed the world you cant stop Messi from contributing in team goal. Some are saying that he is having a very poor run of form and has not been good for barks this season. But he is still the best in right singer in the world even when he is not at par with his standard. He has scored 19 league goals which is the highest in La liga and he is also the highest assist provider in the league with 12 assists.For the first team in many years rumors have been rose that Messi could leave barcelona after his contract expires in 2021, but in the latest interview he said that he would play for Barcelona and wants to retire at barcelona. So that pretty much clears the rumor.

2.)Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund 

The young englishman has been in the top form for Dortmund. He was the first player in this season to score ten goals and to provide ten assists, he is joined by Messi. If we talk about rumors about his transfer he has been linked with almost Every european heavy weight team, be it like Chelsea, Manchester United, Real madrid, Barcelona, Liverpool or Psg and don't know how many more. He has scored 14 goals for dortmund in the bundesliga and has provided 15 assists. He is probably the brightest prospect in the future and has helped Dortmund defensively by tracking back. He is very young but he has been firing all cylinders out.But for his growth He should stay at Dortmund for one more season and join a premier league club and then go to the spainish heavy weight side.

3.) Salah from Liverpool 

The liverpool right winger has been performing very well and has showed that he is not a one season wonder by performing week and week again. There was a little dispute between Salah and Mane in the league match for taking a shot and not passing it to Mane who was unmarked and suddenly Media started claiming that he is selfish in front of goal. Every forward had to be selfish to score a goal at the end of your career the people are going to judge you by looking at your stats not how selfish you were, every striker would take a chance in front of a goal no matter how difficult the position he is in to score.He has scored sixteen goals and assisted six times in the league. He has also been linked away from Anfield and if rumors are to be suggested Real Madrid are tracking his progress and could emerge as favorite to sign but liverpool wont let him go away easily as the reds would ask for 150 million euros.

4.)Angel di Maria from Paris saint Germain

1. Only the second Ligue 1 player featuring in this whole series, he is having his best season at Paris saint Germain the way he is creating chances from the right sing and delivering the ball to Psg's striker he has been fantastic. He has provided 14 assists and scored on seven occasion,There is no doubt that the formation used by Psg's Tactician has been helping the fantastic four forward by playing in a 4-2-2-2 formation of Psg but they are executing their plan to the perfection, and angel di maria is one of the reason they are doing it continuously

5.) Riyad Mahrez from Manchester City

The algerian right winger is one of my favorite in this position but he has been given very less playing time. At any other club he would have been a regular starter but at city he is playing some matches performing good and then again put on bench. He is 29 years and is entering his thirty so he is pretty much in his prime. There has been interest from Paris saint Germain for Mahrez and city and put a tag of 80 million euro on him. He is the third highest assist provider in the premier league with eight assists and has scored on 7 occasions.

Conclusion:- As we know wingers like  change their wing to beat their marker and score a goal, but we have distinguish them with in which wing they stay long left or right. 

And talking about who is the best 

At left wing it is cristiano Ronaldo 

And at right wing it is Lionel Messi
