What if barcelona dont buy or sell players in upcoming transfer window

Its a very hypothetical statement but there were many thoughts coming to me

what if:- we buy Neymar, Lautauro Martinez, Aymeric laporte, Ndombele, Fabian Ruiz, Cancelo and many other players. But then I thought what if Barcelona don't sell or buy any player in the upcoming transfer window. Or rather sell Rakitic and Vidal  and be in the good books of FIFA financial fair play (FFP). Again giving a reminder this can't happen as this is the last year of Bartomeu as the Barcelona president and he will try to sign big players. 

I will include our loan player who can return to Barcelona at the end of the season.

1.) Coutinho 

Bayern Munich have shown no interest in buying Coutinho for 120 million euro price tag and it is almost sure Coutinho will return to Barcelona.

2.) Jean clair Todibo

In Germany it was reported that Schalke wants to buy Todibo for 25 million euro ( his buying clause). But because of this pandemic now, Schalke chat buy him because of financial strain .

3.) Carles Alena 

Alena will return to Barcelona from Real Betis. 

4.) Carles Perez 

Roma will probably buy him in the upcoming transfer window from Barcelona for 10 million euro. 

5.) Emerson 

He is at loan in Real Betis till 2021 so he can't return at the end of this season. 

6.) Moussa Wague

He is at Nice and he is getting the game time and Nice would probably sign him. 

It is almost certain that Coutinho, Todibo and Carles Alena will return to Barcelona

Lets get started, 

Goalkeeper 

We have one of the best goalkeeper in the world, Ter Stegen. 

There isn't any room of discussion for who would be the number one choice in this position. 

Defence

Center back 

Todibo will join Lenglet, Pique and Umtiti in the center back position.

Full back 

Left back- Jordi Alba, Junior Firpo 

Right back- Nelson semedo, Sergi Roberto.

This season Barcelona defence wasn't' very good and the main reason for that is the fitness of our players. Umtiti, jordi alba, sergi roberto were injured for most part of the season. And apart from fitness the other reason which led oppostion team score more goal against Barcelona was "space". While defending their were plenty of spaces in our half and therefore oppostion team's strikers used to get space to shoot the ball. This has to be improved going into the next season. I would give 6 out of 10 for our defence.

 Barcelona problem in midfield 2019-2020 season 

Midfield 

Coutinho and Carles Alena will join sergio Busquets, Frenkie de jong and Arthur at the end of the of the season and they will play at midfield.
After selling Rakitic and Arturo Vidal we would still have five options in the midfield. Coutinho and Alena both are playing as a Attacking midfielder for Bayern and Real Betis respectively.Presently we lack creativity in the midfield and someone who could take the chance going forward in the attack. Busquets is playing in the defensive midfield position and he has played better under Setien. Since Busquets is playing in defensive midfield position that means De jong has to play out of his preferred position. And therefore, sometime De jong can be seen uncomfortable but lately he has started to adjust and now he his playing better from the initial matches. Arthur was injured for most part of the season but whenever he played the matches he was controlling the ball in the midfield position and was moving forward with the ball. I would give this midfield 7 out of 10.
Problem in forward region for barcelona 2019-2020 season 

Forward position- 

Messi, Luis Suarez, Greizmann, Ansu Fati, Ousmane dembele and Martin Braithwaite, *Trinicao.

*Trinicao has already been purchased from Braga for 31 million euro.

This was the list of players at the forward position and looking at the list I dont find lack of option we have seven players who play at forward position. Thats a lot of players and there isn't a lack of quality as well because Messi and Suarez has played good football for years now. Greizmann has struggled this season but he has played exceptionally good for Atletico Madrid in the previous season and he can come stronger next season. Dembele has looked good when he plays but the problem with him is he is injured most part of the season.20 year old, Trinicao hasn't made his barcelona debut but as far as I have seen his performances for Braga it is very impressive and he can also perform well for barcelona. Fati has played less but whatever amount of time he has played he has looked good. Martin Braithwaite has just played 4-5 matches for barcelona and his speed is looking a serious threat in counter attack. All and all I would give this attack 8 out of 10.
All and all I would give this team 7 out of 10 and this team has the potential to challenge for all the trophies.
Now lets see how can we line up
Setien has preferred to play a 3-5-2 formation in which he has used Roberto has a right center back. I think if we want to concede less goal the below formation would be perfect. But with the style of play Barcelona are famous this team wouldn't suit them but defensively this team will concede less goal.

And the below team would be the most boldest choice that Setien can make

Attacking team

But I think setien will stick to 4-3-3 formation which would be more balanced than the ankle mentioned team.

Balanced team 

We saw in this blog that except our defence we dont necessarily need an squad overhaul this season. I wrote this blog to show that barcelona isn't having very bad.
